Maxis Broadband, You Rock!

After my incident with P1, it’s quite scary for me to sign up for a different broadband provider. Finally with all the thinking and understanding the package thoroughly, I signed up for Maxis Broadband end of last year. If I remember correctly, it was 30th Dec 2009. Although it’s rather expensive seeing that they are only offering 3GB for the bandwidth, however there is a still an option to increase it per bandwidth. So you can tell that I have been rather satisfied using Maxis Broadband.

Earlier when I was packing my bags to come back to my parent’s house for Chinese New Year, I have decided to bring along the Maxis Broadband back home. I can still remember the Maxis people telling me that the modem can only be use if there is a 3G signal and my phone can detect if an area has 3G. Before I move to KL, I remember that there is this one particular place where my phone can detect 3G which is why I’m determined to try out Maxis Broadband to see if it’s as good as is in KL.

Early this morning when I woke up, I noticed that the 3G sign is up on my phone. *I always look at my phone first when I wake up in the morning.* So right now at this moment I’m using Maxis Broadband to write this blog post. The speed is just as fast and I’m really surprise that it actually works here too seeing that this is a small town. Well, kudos to you Maxis. You rock!

Working Late

Wondering where I’ve been gone? Well I’m currently back in Kedah celebrating Chinese New Year with my family. I came back on the 8th and will be returning on the 26th with my parents. A long holiday? Nope. I have been working late for the past few days. I always end up sleeping at 3-4 am in the morning and waking up at 11:30am. I guess I can’t really concentrate in my work during daytime due to the hot weather. Sometimes I would force myself to work otherwise I will just start work in the evening.

It has been so hectic these past few days, trying to meet deadlines as well as entertaining guests that comes to visit. Nevertheless I do enjoy the presence of my parents. I miss spending time talking to them and listening to their opinions. Although we do talk on the phone nearly every night when I’m in KL, but somehow the feeling is different. Maybe I should move them to KL faster which is one of the reason why I am working hard currently. In the meantime, I’ll just come home more often to visit them.

Well that’s all the updates for now. I still need to get back to some work. I’m sure most of you are already sleeping right now. Sweet dreams

Valentine’s Day Gift

This year’s Valentine’s day falls on the same day as Chinese New Year. So it’s really difficult for couples that wants to celebrate it. So this year we thought of celebrating it earlier. We haven’t really decided when we will celebrate ours however I receive an early Valentine’s day gift and it’s just something that I need.
