Bites, Sungai Petani – Kedah

Recently an ex schoolmate has open a new cafe in town and I wanted to see how it was and also to show some support. Luckily, my best friend, Celine was free to accompany yesterday night. So here’s how “Bites” look like…

Signboard
This is the signboard which I think is the most hip in town. :)

Seating Area
The comfortable sofas.

Big TV
I love this the most, the really huge tvs.

So we sat down and make our orders. Celine didn’t feel like eating so we share a plate of “mamak mee”, although I think I finish 90% of it. Here’s a shot of our orders:

Mango Shake
I ordered a “Mango Shake”. It taste really milky and nice. Not too rich and the best part is… it’s done by my ex schoolmate. After knowing her for so many years, it’s the first time she’s making me a drink. :)

Wild Berries Tea
Celine ordered a “Wild Berries Tea” which is very fragrant. I think it taste rather good as well.

Mamak Mee
This is the plate of noodles that we ordered. A very big portion of it and it taste good.

Me eating
And here’s the proof of me eating the plate of noodles.

Celine
Here’s my date for the night, Celine, my best friend. Look how comfy the pillows are…

After a while, I decided to order some dessert. I saw some cupcakes earlier and ordered one of each.

Cupcakes
Look how nicely it is…

Lemon cupcake

Peanut cupcake

Mint cupcake

Carrot cupcake

To be honest, we both only prefer the “Mint Cupcake”. As for the rest it’s either too sweet or too creamy. Anyways, I had a good time. The place is suitable for families as you don’t have to shout to make a conversation. There will definitely be a next visit. Congratulations ah Nee. :)
