Thunderstorm

Today it was just like an ordinary day where I was working and needed a break. So what I did was to look out the window just to breath a little. And when I look outside, this is what I see…

Rain
Rain
Rain

It looks scary if you ask me. Look at that thick black cloud and on the other side I can barely see the buildings. There were thunder and lightning but good thing it didn’t rain too long. :)

Rainy Day

Rainy Day
It’s a rainy day today and I’m spending the entire day in my room, working and trying to catch up with work. By the way, when the wind blows, I can actually hear whistling sounds. It shows how strong the wind is. :)

My Work

My Workstation

I’m slowly picking up speed in my work again. I have been lazying around and moving and settling down. So I think it’s time for me to regain my speed in my work. Otherwise I will have a bunch of angry clients screaming at me. For me the most important is a table and a chair and of course some good music. And this time, I’m blessed with good view too. So whenever my brain has run out of juice or it feels like a dried up orange, I can always look out the window and relax my mind.

Well ok now, better not just blog about my work. I better start doing it. :)

My First Day in KL

Some of you might have known that I have just recently move to KL. I’m still getting used to the roads here but I’m quite ok with Sunway area seeing that I used to stay here for 4 years. Anyways, I didn’t manage to take pictures of my room yet, just my view.

Overall, I’m rather happy with my room, housemates as well as the place where I’m staying. It’s just that there are a little crowded with students. But oh well, since this place is located near a college so I guess it’s understandable.

So far so good, missing my parents though. :( Now the next plan is to work hard and look for a house. Then I can move my parents here too :)

Building a Desktop

Initially I wanted to purchase from Dell. Now I know some of you will wonder why in the world will I want to buy from Dell. The main reason why I ordered from Dell is because my laptop nearly died on me and it was enough to freak me out. So the next thing I did was to pick up the phone and quickly order a Dell desktop. The sales guy was patient with me to explain all the details to me which was nice. And then I ask him how long will it take for the delivery and he said it will take 7 days. So ok, I’ve heard from some people stating that they do receive their stuff earlier than date stated. So I went and place an order.

The next thing I know the delivery date that was given to me actually takes more than 7 days. Nearly 2 weeks to be exact. Wow that was disappointing but anyways I’ve decided to wait for it since I have already place an order for it. Two days ago they called me to tell me that they can’t build the system that I want. The reason is due to some engineered problem. I was wondering “Now only you tell me? After waiting so many days for it…” Of course I didn’t lose my cool so I asked him when will I be refunded. He said 7 days and asked me if I would like to purchase another desktop. I said no. That is the first and last for me, buying something from Dell. I thought they were fast and reliable but sadly no.

So end up, I’m going to move in a week’s time and I haven’t gotten myself a desktop. You must be wondering how in the world did I blog and work. Well good thing my laptop didn’t die on me but I do think that it’s a good idea for me to buy a desktop and backup all my work. So I guess I will be building a desktop for myself after I move. It’s going to be an interesting project seeing that I won’t be building it alone. ;)
