I didn’t want to sing an ordinary birthday song for you so I picked this song for you since it’s a happy and hopeful song. Happy Birthday and I hope you will like it. This one is for you…
Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high
There’s a land that I dreamt of once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to, dreams really do come true
Someday I wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
High above the chimney top
That’s where you’ll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow, blue birds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow, why then oh why can’t I
Recently we had a chance to dine in Chilis, the one at Mid Valley.
While we were waiting for our food, there’s nothing much that we can do but to be amused with the funny signs in the place.
The food was really big portion and well I can’t really remember whether we were able to finish our meal or not. I think I finish at least 90% of my food.
Here’s my lamb…
Here’s her salmon…
All in all, I’m pretty satisfied with the food. Although we were sitting at one of the corners of the restaurant, the waiters constantly keep coming and see if they could refill our drinks. I would definitely dine there again.
On the 10th January 2010, I was invited to attend a convocation by someone who is special to me. It was held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre. Good thing we didn’t get lost that day. At least there were not many turnings here and there. The roads were rather straightforward. Anyways, here are some shots taken during that day.
See that’s her name…
And that’s her receiving her scroll…
Here’s the bear that my parents bought for her…
And here’s the bouquet of flowers that I bought for her…
Me with her (trying to be taller than her since she’s wearing heels)…
Today I’m going to blog about my 26th birthday. Yup, I’m already 26 years old. Basically I got my birthday present this morning and couldn’t wait to open it. Here’s a shot of it…
After shaking the box numerous times and admiring the wrapper that is from Toys ‘R’ Us, I’ve finally decided to unwrap it.
So I’ve decided to work on it right away but I couldn’t finish it in time cos we planned to spend the rest of the day in Penang. So we went to Queensbay Mall right after lunch and there we went to watch a movie “G.I. Joe”. It sure is an action-packed film.
Not long after the movie ended, we went for an early dinner seeing that we had to rush back earlier for the cake cutting. So we went to…
The dinner was nice especially when you are there with your loved ones. Here’s what we had…
After dinner we went straight home, took a shower and on to the cake cutting. Here’s my birthday cake
And here’s me blowing the candles… I look silly with my mouth wide open. LOL
Oh, for those of you who are wondering what happen to my car… here it is. I manage to finish it.
I simply love this year’s birthday.
